Meet Tim

I’m Tim Killeen and I’d love to work with you!

My professional journey has been dedicated to understanding how systems work—and how they can work better. After practicing law at a law firm and running my own practice, I took a dual role in both legal and operations in the tech world. Following that, I helped the City of Detroit plan, operate and track over 140 projects funded by an $826M federal grant.

I founded 11th Street Consulting because I enjoy using the knowledge and skills I’ve gained over the years to help others thrive. In this case, I empower organizations to operate with greater clarity and effectiveness, without getting bogged down by unnecessary friction.

My approach is holistic: I recognize that efficient operations and good people management go hand-in-hand. Whether it's optimizing and automating daily tasks, implementing solid project management principles, or giving high-level strategic advice, I bring both analytical rigor and practical problem-solving to every engagement.

While the work is serious, I believe in an approachable process and having fun while we work. I’ll avoid all the Lean Six Sigma jargon and just provide practical fixes, often with a joke. Achieving big things shouldn’t be boring!

Outside of work, you'll find me immersed in the culture of Detroit, with my wife Nishaat and our best friend/dog, Dave Anderson. I enjoy exploring the city's food and drink scene, cooking and making cocktails at home, international travel, and recording music in my home studio.
